"Styx and Stones in Concert" is an acrylic painting on an 11" x 14" stretched canvas. The color theme is chocolate brown, copper and white. Tiny wooden dowels with glass round beads, micro beads, glass rocaille beads, hand-made paper-clay beads and copper wire add dimension, texture and rhythm to the painting. The painting extends over the edge of the canvas and is ready to hang without a frame. The tiny wooden dowels also reach beyond the edge of the painting, making an interesting light-and-shadow play on the wall. Framed in Illusions Floater Frame, allowing adequate space for the extending wood pieces to have their full effect.
